School Tours

Skiing
One if the most popular trips in the school is the ski trip.  This takes place every one to two years.  Following consultation with the Board of Management, it has been decided to organise a school ski trip in February 2014 to Folgaria in Italy. The number of places are limited.

Folgaria is an attractive village situated on the border of Trentino in the province of Trento.  The resort is full of character and has a wealth of apres ski possibilities including an indoor swimming pool, ice rink and sports centre.  The lift pass covers a total of nearly 80km of pistes on 57 different slopes of which 60km are integrated.  The resort offers a wealth of skiing for the beginner and intermediate.  Beginners will commence at the excellent nursery slopes close to the village at Francolini or Fonte Grande, before continuing to the slightly more challenging blue slopes of Passo Sommo and Francolini.  Intermediates of all standards will enjoy a variety of descents in Fondo Piccolo, Fonte Grande, Serrada.
Accomodation will be in a 3 star hotel.  All rooms are well furnished and have full en-suite facilities & television.  The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Folgaria village.
