School Choir
The School Choir is a seasonal choir made up of students from all years. The School Choir convenes to prepare music for school liturgies in September, Advent and Lent. Membership is open to all who are interested in participating. Those who study Music as an academic subject are particularly encouraged to join the School Choir. Rehearsals take place during lunchtime in the weeks leading up to each occasion. The choir is open to membership from all year groups and students with an interest in choral singing are invited to audition.

Chamber Choir
St Vincent’s School Chamber Choir was established in September 2011 by Stephen Hennessey with the intention of giving students the opportunity to perform choral music to a high standard.  As an undergraduate in Trinity College Dublin, he was appointed as conductor of the Chapel Choir for two years. Highlights of this tenure include performances for the Irish Ambassador to Austria in his Vienna residence, a recital in Hamburg’s beautiful Michelkirche and the RTÉ Christmas Day 2007 broadcast. The Chamber Choir rehearses music from a wide range of genres including popular music, gospel and sacred music, folk and classical.  Membership of the Chamber Choir is subject to audition. Members attend a weekly lunchtime rehearsal as well as occasional Saturday/after school rehearsals in preparation for school events and concerts.
